*1967 442 Hurst Hustler Club Car #1*
This car is built just like our ‘67 442. It’s Spanish Red with a red interior, 4 speed and console. 400cid
motor with the W-30 Ram Air Shroud and battery in the trunk. Our car is NOT a W-30 but a Trak-Pac car, no
red inner fender liners. Nebraska license plate “BREEZZ” and the “Oldsmobile Club of America” member frame.
Comes with the Hurst forged aluminum wheels, Hurst Red shifter ball and the Hurst Hustler decal on the
trunk lid.
*Extra Bonus* is a pair of Cheater Slicks mounted on Hurst wheels. Each car has it’s own number,
1 thru 1000.
NO Red Hurst Hustler Cars will be built again!
I have received some prototypes from Tom at Hwy61 and have worked with him to produce an accurate as possible
1967 Olds 442. Our ‘67 442 that you see is an original paint car that we purchased in Wyoming. When they
asked me about taking pictures of our car for a die cast model I thought to myself, "OK how much is this going
to cost me?" As it turned out, it was legit.
That October day they took 644 pictures of our car. In this 1/18th
scale Die Cast I can see why they did. The only cars that come close are Danbury, Franklin Mint... but this is
in a larger scale.
Some of the highlights are: the folding seats (correct interior shine), sun visors (misses
the mirror) and steering wheel (not a fat wheel), they added an opening glove box and console lid, carpeting,
real scissor type hood hinges w/springs, wing windows that open, an antenna that you can put up or down,
decals that you can read what it says in the correct scale and the foil type chrome moldings around the
windows, wheel wells and lower moldings are great. Working suspension, detailed frame, wired and plumbed engine.
The most unique detail is that you can turn the 442 over and rotate the rear wheels and watch the drive shaft TURN!
